A. Solar On / Off Grid Rooftop Systems

Power consumption load in commercial establishments is usually very high. Solar rooftop PV systems make use of free space available on roofs. These systems are used to maximize building energy efficiency, implement renewable energy measures to achieve green building certification and cater to power outages.

Solar PV modules can be mounted on the free space available on roofs to convert the sun’s energy directly into electrical energy. The electricity produced is direct current (DC) which is converted into alternating current (AC) with a Power Conditioning Unit (PCU). The AC power can either be consumed immediately in sync with the grid/other power sources or stored in batteries to be used during power outages/night time to drive critical loads.

Unavailability of solar radiation during rough weather and night time usually makes it difficult to make or store power in order to deal with power outages. The solution to this problem can be an off grid solar system or stand-alone system. This system balances the mismatch between the electrical load and the electricity produced, and the power is supplied as per the application requirement (DC Load or AC Load), with the help of some energy storage devices like batteries.

These off-grid solar systems are usually suited for rooftops of small homes, offices, malls, hospitals and such establishments.


A small solar panel of 1 KW for a home power plant is adequate to drive a load of approximately 300 watts for four hours with a small battery bank, depending on solar irradiation in the area. The solar panels for homes, office and such establishments directly convert solar energy to electrical energy. This can be used immediately to drive loads or stored in batteries for usage at time of power outages.

The Residential solar energy system does not require maintenance; regular cleaning of modules can keep the system up and running.

The biggest challenge in implementing government policies and other development programs in rural areas and homes is lack of infrastructure. Many areas are still not connected to the grid. The only answer to the problem is decentralization of power generation. This is where Off Grid solar energy systems can play a major role.

As the name suggests KCP Solar grid-tied power plant works tied up with the main EB Grid.

It is a without battery technology, the generated solar power is given to the load of the consumer.

The excess power which the consumer does not consume during morning is fed back to the main grid through NET-METERING technology which is enabled by TNEB to the applied consumers.

The no of units which the consumers export to the main grid is subtracted from their main EB consumption and the net bill is calculated.

Consume your own solar power when it is available and the utility grid is working.

Purchase electricity from the grid when sun does not shine.

B. Solar Water Pumps

A solar water pump has a mini power house at its heart and consists of a calibrated and matching solar array of modules – tuned with the equivalent power of pump for that particular application. The solar water pumping system is capable of running all types of electrical water pumps with applications varying from irrigation to household demands. Irrigation pumps such as submersible, surface or deep well can also be coupled with drip irrigation systems to enhance the returns from this configuration.


A typical solar water pumping system is known by the sum total of solar array size that is required to run the attached pump. A 1000 Wp solar water pump is capable of drawing and pumping approximately 40,000 litres of water per day from a source that is up to 10 meters deep. This is sufficient to irrigate about 2 acres of land with regular crops. A 1000 Wp solar water pump helps save up to Rs 45,000 when compared to equivalent use of a diesel-operated pump over a year.

Clean Room

A cleanroom is a controlled environment where products are manufactured. It is a room in which the concentration of airborne particles is controlled to specified limits. Eliminating sub-micron airborne contamination is really a process of control. These contaminants are generated by people, process, facilities and equipment.


They must be continually removed from the air. The level to which these particles need to be removed depends upon the standards required. Strict rules and procedures are followed to prevent contamination of the product.

The only way to control contamination is to control the total environment. Air flow rates and direction, pressurization, temperature, humidity and specialized filtration all need to be tightly controlled. And the sources of these particles need to controlled or eliminated whenever possible. There is more to a clean room than air filters. Cleanrooms are planned and manufactured using strict protocol and methods. They are frequently found in electronics, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device industries and other critical manufacturing environments.

We classify Clean Room in to two broad categories; Operation Theatres and Pharma -Biomedical.

In Opeation theatres we undertake turnkey installations such as Laminar flow, Pendents, Lighting and ceiling. In Modular OT we do the complete design, engineering, laminar flow, return -air risers, anti static flooring, Pendents, Lighting Gas piping and control valves and complete control panel comprising BMS. In the Pharma-Biomedical sector we do clean rooms for any application from manufacturing, process, research, storing to re-use and re-cycle.
